About Dr. Sammie I Long
With more than three decades of clinical experience, Dr. Sammie I Long is a medical specialist in vascular and interventional radiology. Between 2002 and 2006, she held the roles of clinical assistant professor of radiology and special fellow at the Medical Center of the University of South Alabama. In addition, Dr. Sammie I Long has earned numerous awards and honors, including the Outstanding Young Woman in America award, and the Golden Circle Award from the Meharry National Alumni Association.
Dr. Sammie I Long is a member of professional societies such as Alpha Omega Alpha, the American College of Radiology, and the American Medical Association. She has also made a number of presentations, including “Hemoptysis in Cystic Fibrosis: Emphasis on Clinical Initiators of Hemoptysis,” which she gave at Saint Joseph Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2001.
